There is loud buzzing noise coming from my car in the front on the right under the cars computer......I am getting a 22,000 mile service message and a Alarm service message. we pulled the fuse on the alarm and it did not stop buzzing..it buzzes all night..all day...

2004 V70R 22,000 ish miles on it....

 

I would say have the alarm siren looked at thats what it sounds like.

If there was an easy way to get to it I would have you unplug it but you would have to remove the inner fender liner just to get to it.

 

Well the bumper is halfway pulled off....my fault I pulled up too far on a parking bumper..the previous owner did it twice so this will make the third bumper on the car....

 

I have to do an update..i took the car to the dealer today and this dumb bunny ( I hope not the Mechanic on site)comes out and says it is the fan..I said no it is the alarm siren..then a bunch of guys come out and look and tryto guess..I say look I post on a Volvo chat board and it is the horn siren....One guy said you are hired....

 

LOL did they fix it?

 

Oh sorry for the typos in the last post...

I had to leave the car for a laundry list of things...the horn, the sunroof does not work, the bumper needs fixing , 22,500 mile check up, and a terrible windshield I had replaced once and thank god it cracked...soI can get Volvo glass ..and reduce the noisefrom the crappy one...

I told them whenI left..... for god-sake please do not let that car sit all weekend making that noise...just go up through the wheel well and unplug it...
