Default Marketing of V70R's

Not Sure where this should be posted - so here goes.
Has anyone tried to sell their V70R on Bring a Trailer? If I remember there were a couple of people always looking on forums for this model but the prices seemed to be considerably less that what is achieved on BaT.

I think it really depends on the car - ie what makes it special - ie low miles, pristene, well sorted out, a rare color, southern or west coast car etc. V70Rs are already hot in the used marketplace since they are somewhat rare. Its easy enough to search BAT to see what recent sales have brought in and what that particular car had going for it and how the seller presented the car. My two cents is people go to BAT to find something unique - not to find a "deal". You do have the option of setting a reserve if you really want to get a set amount. Last month two 2005s sold - one with 154K miles went for $ 7400 and another with 123K sold for 15.2K - the only major difference I can really see is one was in Oregon and the other was in Kansas... PS the 15.2K sale was offered at no reserve

Thank you very much for your response. Mine is a little complicated as I am in Vancouver, Canada with a 2007 automatic that is American as I purchased it in Bellevue, WA in 2010. It has 87K miles which is good an auto which is bad.
Anyway, thank you for the help.

If the car is clean (ie no dents/dings etc) with no known service issues you should be able to command top dollar - unless people are concerned about the import rules to get the car back into the states. The pacific NW is a good area for sourcing cars so my two cents would be to include instructions on importing from Canada to the US as part of your package.

Thank you so much for your help. My wife is not too happy with me selling it.
All maintenance is done, and everything works as intended. I believe it could be resprayed after 15 years. The only item will be the rear bumper as it looks as if my zealous polishing has impacted the clearcoat. So it will require removal to refinish.
I appreciate your idea of me gathering the import/export information. Thanks again.

I owe you one!
