Misterious vibrations in steeringwheel

Our V70 is having vibrations in the steering wheel at about 75 km/h and between 120 and 140 km/h.
This is what has been done to check where it is coming from:
- balancing wheels
- outlining car
- new front suspension
- new shock absorbers
- new arms (do not know English word, but I mean the holders of the front wheels)
- changed out the front suspension cups
- new right homokinetic shaft
- change out worn stabilisation beam left
This is what was investigated:
- when accelerating at 120 km/h the vibrations appear. When releasing gas, vibrations appear to be less
- when vibrations appear and pushing the clutch, no difference, vibrations continue
- car lifted and wheels free, at 120 km/h no vibrations. Steering wheel steady as can be.
- after changing the arms, suspension cups and shock absorbers, the vibrations did not disappear, but in stead of only between 120-140 km/h now also slightly at 75lm/h and higher frequency.
If you read this all, what do you recommend to check?

Hello, "...car lifted and wheels free...no vibrations..." check the CV joints (half shafts)
Give the motor mounts a look too.

Hello, CV stands for Constant Velocity. They are an improvement over universal joints which can be seen on car and truck driveshafts. There is one at each end of each axle shaft. While CV joints can be rebuilt and the rubber boot replaced if torn, most times the entire axle is replaced with a rebuilt unit. It saves time and is very cost effective. I thought of it as a source of your vibration due to the fact that the vibration went away when you relieved the load.

1) "outlining a car" is what? Alignment possibly?
2) are "suspension cups" spring seats?
3) is a "homokinetic shaft" an engine mount or axle?
4) is a "stabilization beam" a drop link or sway bar link?

So wooter, where are you in the world?
From your description my guess would be out-of-true tires and/or wheel rims.
Beyond that, tire balance is critical. My last two sets of tires i had to take back for a 2nd balancing... Who's balancing your tires?

Balancing the tire is not the problem. I think we did that 3times now and tried other tires as well.
We now think about the clutch or transmission. How can we test that?
For now the garage stopped the investigation after 2 days of work, but we need to know what is happening.

Just back from garage.
The change out of the arms, spring cups and the shock breakers and 3 times balancing of the wheels did change something.
Now the shaking of the steering wheel is at 135 km/h in stead of at 120 km/h. Also, the steeringwheel shakes more clearly now from left to right and not up and down.
We think about the differential.
Why? Now, he did the trick with both wheels in the air, no vibrations at all.
One side on the ground, the other in the air: vibrations
The other side in the air and the one side on the ground: vibrations.
Also, the steering is not as soft as could be.
Any experience with signs of wear/damage/etc in the differential and the effect on vibrations?

Its non of this all. We have tried everything now.
Our conclusion is that it must be deeper in the engine. We think that the differential is worn. This device is directly connected to the steering housing (Volvo construction).
Garage will investigate/think about this problem.

Problem was never solved 100%. Entire front suspension was changed out finally. Tires were excluded some time agon already, after we did change out the tires with 2 other sets. I think that the problem is coming down to the differential. When we ever change out the clutch, we might change out this part as well and see what happens.
In the mean time we enjoy the car as much as possible with out family trips.
