Must be nice to live where 40 aspect tires (tyres?) survive! Where I live, the bumps, potholes, expansion strip gaps, etc., all conspire to make life with 45 aspect tires an adventure. This winter I'm fitting some 55's on 16" rims for snow tires since the roads are even worse then with freeze-thaw cycles.

Sorry, but my wife has appropriated the V70 as her car and she's slightly less attuned to these road hazards which doesn't bode well for the wheels. I've priced replacements and all I can say is "yikes".

Very nice!

I just picked up a set of summer wheels, but went w/ 16's since the tires are cheaper and the car sees 1000 miles over the whole summer.
