Question new coil, return of hesitation

I replaced coil #5 on my 2001 V70 T5 last night. The car idled smooth. The error code of P0305 did not return.
Driving this morning I get the same hesitation and uneven idle, but no codes set yet.
I did not look at the spark plug whne I replaced the coil.
Is the spark plug now causing problem, another coil or wires?

hi m8, i am getting roughly the same issues as you . i have a 2000 phz 2 v70 t5, i bought it 2 weeks ago. i have not driven it much, so i was a bit surprised when i noticed the hesitation, mine does it on all gears, and when you try to accelerate quickly,. i have owned a t5 in the past, and know that the vehicle is not running as well as they do. i have carried on with full volvo service and had the plugs-oil-filters changed last week"hoping to sort the issue" but it did not.also had it scanned and no faults were found,. a mechanic is coming over tomorow to try and diagnose the problem, so i will let you know m8..
you do the same for me m8.............nice 1 neil

Have you got a new trouble code set yet? For some reason those coil packs tend to go out in bunches...

I found out that the manual I was using had the cylinder order backwards so I replaed the wrong coil, although it did sound better for a short time.
Took it to my local Volvo mechanic and he changed the right coil and plugs and it runs fine now. Good thing I brought it to him as my timing belt and tensioned were worn.
