Default New member - turbo return line O ring

I;m new to these forums - have been looking for a bit and seems like a great knowledgable group.

I've had volvos for over 22 years, 740 turbo, 240 Turbos, T5's, just can;t seem to drive anything else. I seems to gravitate to olders ones - 850's and youngest is 99 XC70. Have three now all over 200k KM. Just change the oil regularly and replace brakes every two years and they keep going!

Our 99 XC70 has oil smell last two years. Oil cooler is wet but so is line above it. I think I finally tracked it down to the oil return line O ring.

With the XC70 its right above the transfer case. Looks like a challenge to get to.

Do I need to take off the transfer case? can I get it from top?
Any help with a procedure to replace this would be appreciated.

Probably leaking cause oil trap clogged? crankcase pressure seems high - when I take oil cap off oil blows out all over. Hold hand over it and you can feel lots of pressure. perhaps if I do this it will stop leaking at o ring?

Where to get a oil trap replacement kit? up here in Canada?
