Default New Tires

I decided to retire (no pun intended) the OE tiires on my '03 V70 2.4T at 38+ K miles. They were Michelin MXV4+ - not at the wear bars yet but close enough, showing some cracking in the tread grooves and slippery on wet roads. A conversation with Tire Rack led to the purchase of Michelin Pilot Exalto All Season rubber. Put them on last week, just in time for our dusting of snow. My initial impression is very favorable. Smooth - quiet (quieter than the MXV's) and sgnificantly improved steering response. Time will tell if the claimed low rolling resistance of the MXVs and consequent fuel mileage advantage shows up as increased consumption

Default RE: New Tires

What is your opinion of them now? I am looking at tires, and would appreciate your observations.
