Default Newbie question re throttle body cleaning

'06 V70t just acquired. Owner's manual says word to the effect:

Volvo does not recommend any external cleaners for the throttle body.

Is this due to fire risk if flammable cleaner goes through hot turbo? Why else?

I've always cleaned the throttle bodies with spray cleaner on other cars -- its a job even an idiot like me can handle. And I've never had to duct tape anything back together after I was done.

What am I missing here?

Not sure why they say that.
You can spray it on a rag and wipe it out of you want.
