Default Newbie requesting help

hello all, I am the very proud owner of an original 2001 Classic V70 petrol estate, one of the last ever made, in green and I love it.

We bought it 3 years ago, 45k mls and one owner, we loved it so much we traded in another car we had of higher value, so the dealer ended up giving us a car AND a cheque, says it was the first time he ever heard of such a "sale" LOL.

My husband and myself run a tuning business and as myself and our 2 yr old son spend a major part of our week inside this car we added some enhancements such as:

- Uprated brake discs all round, Goodridge braided lines, Pagid RS 4 -2 Blue pads. You can never have too good a braking set up I think..
- H & R sport springs and anti roll bars, keeps the body roll etc in check without being harsh or "crashy"
- New OE dampers all round
- BMC direct replacement free flow air filter
- Michelin PS2 Tyres
- Mid tint windows
- rear storage area protection matt
- Rear PDC ( aftermarket)
- Storage bag on rear seat bench back

She has never let us down so far.

Howver an annoying problem has recently surfaced wheer by it sounds as if the heater or engine fan are constantly on, soon as the key goes gets to the key is turned such that all electrical accessories are on, before the engine starts. Thing is we cannot see any fans on, yet there the noise is all the time every day. Heater controls are definately off :-)

Anybody had this ?

many thanks in advance

Hello, You must determine which system is involved. With this sound occurring, pull each fuse then replace it until you hear it stop. Another thing you can do is open the hood and have someone keep an ear near the radiator fan and another listening while he turns the key. Kira
