Default Oil Leak Missing Hardware

Help! I am missing a few bolts on corners of left side of engine block. The lower left is leaking oil. Is it normal for oil to come out with bolt missing? What size is missing bolt? The vehicle is 1998 V70 early engine. Also wondering what bolts the splash guard under radiator takes. I've attached picture of leaking oil.

i believe this is the correct diagram. the correct bolts should be 32 and the washers are 33. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

cylinder head. Fits: 1998 Volvo V70 2.5l 5 cylinder Fuel Injected | Volvo Cars USA

how long has it been like that? that uneven pressure may have negatively affected your valve cover gasket. only way to know would be to torque all the bolts to spec, clean it all up and check for new leaks, though. you can grab those torque specs from any repair manual.

not sure about the splash plate bolts though. hope this helps.
