Hi

Just had this error code come up on my 2001 Model year V70. Has anyone else experience this? My cruise control also stopped working approximately 2 weeks before this error message appeared. When you switch the cruise on it still displays in the dashboard but you just can't set the speed. Is it likely they are related?

Is it one combined switch for the brake lights and the switching off of the cruise control?

There are 2 codes, one for 'circuit high' and a different one for 'circuit low'. Is there anyway of telling specifically what has failed from each of these different codes?

There is a switch in the Brake Booster. That switch is bad. It is a cylinder looking thing with a plug on the end.

 

I replaced the brake sensor and removed the stored error code. Unfortunately the cruise control is still not working though.

Any further suggestions?

The code might still be present in another computer not allowing the cruise to work.

 

Is there anyway I can check if this code is present in another computer or will I have to take it to the dealer for them to find out.

Sorry but the Dealer. Or an Indy that can read all the computers.
