Unhappy Possessed door lock

Hi,

The passenger door lock on my '01 V70 is possessed. When I use the key fob lock (and even if I manually lock the door or use the internal locking button), the lock on the passenger door will unlock. Sometimes it will lock, but other times I have to press the lock button/fob up to 6 times before it will "stay." Sometimes the left turn signal also goes all crazy, blinking at twice the normal speed before it calms down.

Is my car possessed? If so (or if not), does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you!

1. The door lock issue is the common issue when the lock assembly goes bad.
2. The turn signal most likely the bulb socket is bad.
