Default Power door locks not working.

I have a 1999 V70 with power door locks. The door lock switches located in the front doors are no longer working.

When I push the switch on either the driver side or passenger side door nothing happens. When I insert the key into the driver side door ( the only key lock on the car) the driver side door opens, but no other doors open, but they used to.

The remotes I have for the car have broken cases, but are functioning in a electrical sense and do actually open all the doors.

It appears if something is wrong between the switches in the front door and the key.

I tried disconnecting the battery in hopes of resetting the computer, but that didn't solve the problem.

Help...

I'm glad you asked this question since I have a door lock problem too on my 2001 V70.........the switch on the drivers door doesn't open all the locked doors when you're inside the vehicle........I have to push the remote on the key chain to get them all to open. It's kind of a pain when I drive through my local car wash to get the doors unlocked so they can vacuum the car. Hope you get an answer that also will fix my problem.

Jim check all your fuses under the hood.

Mclean Yours may be a computer issue. The window switch assembly is a computer.
