Default Power steering

Hi All, I have just replaced the Pirelli Scorpion's on my V70 2006 model (2.4 170bhp) with Michelin Pilot Sport tires (225/45-17). These tires have an amazing grip and are very quiet..... but, now i feel the steering at parking speeds is much heavier than before; too heavy for my liking. Its tire related, because the difference was right after the tire change (must be the better road grip of these Michelins). The question is: is the power steering pump adjustable to increase the steering assist?

I have a volvo CD that shows how
you can have the belt tension checked
and have the pump pressure checked

Thanks! I think its not a failure or belt related; it was right after changing the tires. I was hoping that it is possible to increase the power boost of the pump.... In March it has its 20K service scheduled; I will discuss it with the dealer and see if they can come up with anything.... Thanks anyway!
