Default Power window problem

I am having a problem with the driver and passenger power windows. They stopped working all of the sudden. When I push the switch, I only hear a click. When I pull up the switch, the window moves sometimes, but also hear a click. Although the back windows do go up and down, I do hear a click when I press the switch up or down. I would appreciate any help.

Bad switchpack. $70 bucks online. easy to change out since the whole unit comes out in one piece. just take your time when you disassemble the door panel and use some Auto Goop to mesh the pieces back together when you're done. the old green glue and sticky foam they use on them probably won't be any good once you take all the pieces off and you run the risk of having your door rattle going down the road. good luck.

you also might want to replace all the plastic klecos in the door panels with some stronger ones. I Auto Goop'd mine into the panel so they wouldn't move when I go ready to put it back on the door. haven't had a problem since.

Definetly the switches. I was having the same problem on my 1990 240 and none of mine worked. I switched a couple out and now they work fine. I saw them at smothers but they were $45 and then looked online and found them for like $22. If you dont have the money you can just rebuild them its not to hard. You take them apart completely, clean everything with some electrical cleaner, especially the contact points and put back together.
