Default Pulsing option??

Hi all

I have been experiencing something rather strange in my car. When stopped at a robot and I have my foot only slightly on the brake, the car will creep forward in a "pulsing" fashion. If I step harder on the brake it won't move but you still get that feeling like the engine or gearbox is pulsing. I have stared at the rev counter and there is never any movement, although I have noticed that it is not very sensitive (you can slightly increase revs without the needle moving).

Any ideas? Tech, some wisdom

Peace.

Has the transmission neutral control function been disabled on your car?

No clue ... think it could be something to do with that? I'm going to mail my "connection" at Volvo, I go there so much, he knows me by name already

OK new these cars were designed that when you were coasting the tranny would go into neutral till you hit the gas again. There was alot of problems with it so Volvo desinged software to remove the function all together.

Is there any other way of finding this out (non-Volvo route). They want to charge me to plug in and see and if there are updates needed, then I have to pay for those too (clever bastards).

I have a suspicion that the neutral stop thing was not disabled (did some reading on it). When I'm stopped and I start to accelerate, I can feel the gearbox engage with a thunk (both torque mounts are fine - top one is new and the bottom one I have temporarily "fixed").

Maybe the Dealer will give you a print out of work that has been done to the car.
That is the only way to find out.

Hi folks,

I am trying to experiment with the pulse feature in FreX16, as I have read that
it works "like a hammer", providing perhaps even better/quicker results. But I
would like to know if there are other good frequencies for pulsing that we can
use besides the default one (7.83Hz). Any suggestions or your experience,
please?
