Default Repplace PCV oil trap and hoses

I am looking for some detailed instructions on replacing the PCV oil trap and hoses for my 98 V70 XC. I have a Chilton's manual and it has no reference to a PCV oil trap.

Groton Volvo parts list has a good picture of the parts. The oil trap is under the intake manifold in front of the water thermostat.

I posted some pics. of this job 98 v70 do a search for "flame trap" or "vent box" or you can search using my id; "eyukins"

He's right, FCP Groton has some good pics and they sell the parts as a kit.

Thanks, I found the picture of the vent box. Now I know why I received a "Intake Manifold Gasket", with the kit from Groton. Should I be thinking of any other maintenace issues or replacements, since I will have the intake manifold removed?

Like hoses, cleaning cooling system,and/or belts?

You could blow the seals out and cause massive oil leaks.

Cam seals and the rear main can blow out from excessive crank case pressure.
