Default reverse parking sensors

hi, is it possible to tell from a chassis number is a vehicle has reverse parking sensors fitted?

Ours has them, and they are quite visible on the bumper. There is also a switch on the lower part of the console in front of the transmission lever with a to turn them off and labeled "P" or something like that.

I guess I don't quite understand your question unless you are wondering whether the car used to have them but now doesn't due to bumper cover replacement.

That was exactly my concern, bumper replacement due to possible crash.

Academic now but thanks for taking the time.

Another question: My Volvo V70 has a switch to turn off DSTC. Why would you ever want to switch off this safety feature?
