Default Reverse sensor or park distance control sensor problem

Hi to all volvo lover,
I have a Volvo V70 T5, 2000 model. It comes with reverse sensor or some people call it park distance control sensor.
The problem that I have is, whenever I put to Reverse gear. The buzzer sounds off continously.
One mechanic from a repair shop said that the paint on the sensor surface is too thick.
Please help or advice.

if they are factory and never replaced, its unlikely that the paint is to thick, from my experience, these are either squeezed sensor, or a failed sensor.

I will bring it to Volvo service centre to have it check. Thanks.
