Default RPM

Hi
I drive a Volvo V70 2.5, 20 valves 1998 .Recently I noticed that while changing gear, the RPM increase momentarily when I take my foot off the throttle. I have not noticed this before but I don’t thing this is part of the normal operation. I have recently changed the lambda sensor as well as the mass air flow sensor. The engine runs fine however I may have a problem that I am not aware of. Could I please have your view or make use of your previous experiences.
Many thanks.
