Default SIPS and Replacement seats

I have been looking at a new interior for my 98 V70R that has SIPS. The interior I am looking at is from a 98 V70 and is full leather etc, but as far as I know, no SIPS. Is the setup for SIPS like a box or unit you can move from one vehicle to another or is it integral to the structure of the seat? The seats on the other interior should fit perfectly and they sure look better than mine. I would expect having the leather/alcantra current seats re-done would cost a lot more than the 8 to 900 I am looking at for an entire (front & rear) newish clean interior. Any ideas on other options I might persue to fix this shabby interior?
Thanks.

Default RE: SIPS and Replacement seats

The regular V70 seats should have SIPS. They pretty much all came with SIPS starting with the 850.

We have someone here that works on the Seats and puts in Plether and it looks and feels like leather.
They charge $250.00 a seat. Might want to look into it.
