BeforeI go riping into my dash is there any concerns about the direct connection for my sirius radio? Iam using the Sirius FM antenna but I get a lot of static so I want to go to the direct connection. I read not to unplug the climate control but how about the radio?

 

I just did mine last night. Actually removed the XM direct link (like Sirius better) and replaced it. I didn't not unplug anything but the antena. Works like a charm - presently working to build the Sirius radio where the ashtray is on my 1998 V70 - don't like it so much in my face.
