RE: Sizing of snow tires
Welcome to the forums Glen. Check into the 'New members area' and peruse the rest of the forum.
The wider tires will actually be a detriment to snow handling. More surface to ride up on the snow and hydroplane on slush. The higher profile/larger diameterwill throw your speedometer up a few MPH.
That being said, they are just slightly larger than the others and you'll have enough clearance, the choice is yours.

RE: Sizing of snow tires
I would never go with a 225/60 when the car calls for a 205/55. They are going to rub like crazy.
My car calls for 205/50/17 and I run 215/50/17, and have heard that 225/50/17 is too big. When you add the height by going 225/60 instead off 205/55 you are adding height along with width.
