Stereo question...crossover?

Stereo question...crossover?
I was wondering if the crossover is in the stock unit or located elsewhere. I replaced the stock unit and I havea set of MB Quarts and want to use that crossover but I can't figure out how to run the wires up through the dash. Would I have to take the dash off or can I use the existing wires?
