I Have a 1998 V70 R AWD
Last month went on a trip returned home parked up
The next day the car would not start it would crank over and try to start then just die
when i turned on the ignition i could not hear the pump prime soi pulled the pump relay and bridged across
still would not start and no noise from the pump so i purchased another pump the complete assembly
I replaced the pump with the new one I didnt have a battery on the car so ijust connected jump cables from another vehicle
She started straight away and i ran for a few minutes Thinking the problem was solved i turned off and commenced to rebuild what id taken apart I refitted the now charged battery turned on the ignition and could hear the pump prime turned her over but it would not fire Im sure there is enough fuel pressure at the rail as it really sprays out and i also have a spark can someone give me a checklist to run through apart from the usual Fuel & spark
Ive tried both sets off keys tried locking and unlocking the doors to no avail
I just cant think of anything else
