Default stuck rear window

My rear window got got stuck yesterday. I tried another switch and ruled out that problem. I wasn't really sure where to go from there so I started digging into the door, looking for a way to dislodge the motor from the actual window so I could manually raise the window and keep it in place. I'm really not worried about using the window, I just want it shut. The problem I ran into was that the motor unit is very difficult remove. Can somebody give me advice on how to remove this unit and how to go about raising the window manually?

Thanks.

Did you try powering the motor with a battery to see if it would move?
You need to remove the regulator to get the motor out. Also it needs to work to get it out.
Also to disconnect the glass from the regulator it needs to work as well.

Then you need to try to work your hands in there and release the clips on the plastic blocks.

Also with power to the motor try tapping the window motor and see if it starts working.
