I have a 1998 V70 and I am unable to get the tailgate to unlock from the inside or the outside. I have removed the trim as well as the manual open lever and can see the complete lock assembly and when I depress the unlock spoon manually nothing happens.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance on getting the tailgate open...
