Default Thinking of replacing my v70

I currently have a 1998 V70 that i purchased in october 2013 for $400.00. The history of the car has 240,000 but the speedometer works intermitently. Last time they timing belt was done the sticker shows 160,000 miles. Its a 2 owner car plus me. The other things that it needs timing belt $490. Passenger side door locking module/regulator $100 if i install. Evap Codes (slight gas/exhaust smell at times in the cabin) coming up and ABS/Traction control light are on. Fixing the speedometer not sure the price? The Rear Hatch lock sometimes stick's.The car has some dents but that is expected from living here in New York City. Ive invested not a whole into the car maybe 700.00 so far. My question is considering the mileage and the unknown mileage and the needed repairs would it be a safe investment to fix or should i start looking at another vehicle.?
The car runs really well.

Compression test... Those miles don't worry me. My car has more miles and the motor is super strong. If the motor is strong, proceed with repairs.

The ABS repair will fix the speedo problem.
