Default Transmission Code TCM00C

Hello All. I just purchased a 1999 V70 AWD and the transmission arrow light is on. The service engine light is also on. The car drives fine till the car warms up and then the transmission wont go. I took it to the dealer and they pulled the codes- TCM00- shift solinoid. They told me that I needed a new transmission. I declined. I went home and pulled the codes from a friends OBDII reader and it says p0756. My qustion is- Do I have to replace the transmission or can I just replace the shift solinoid? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS!!!!!!!!!

sorry, but the codes for my 98 don't match up with your 99 AWD when I try to look it up in alldata. Have you tried looking up the problem in VADIS or alldata?

According to my scanner and alldata its a shift solinoid. po756. I can get a used transmission with 87k with a lifetime parts warranty for $950. I would have to do the labor myself. Again I would rather not have to replace the transmission if at all possible.

I would try replacing the S2 soleniod first and see if that fixes it.
