I have a small oil leak from the air intake to the turbo. The plastic air line meets the turbo line.From the air mass flow. Is the spot. The leak is not much but it is doing a job on the parking spot. I have talked to a service rep. about it. I was told that the early turbo's do not have a great seal and are not that good . So live with it. Or pay. How does oil back up the air intake line into the turbo? I was told that cutting a old bike tube is a good fix . Any other will help.
FYI I have no oil leaking from the return line.

Yes it is very common. The bike tube is your best option. The oil gets in there due to the Vent system venting back into that hose.

 

It's good to know that my oil problem is pretty common. Bike tube is going on.
