Turbo Control Valve
I figured I'd start a new post on this because I can't seem to find what I'm looking for through searching...
The CEL on my 99 Volvo V70 Turbo came on and threw a bunch of codes. I took it to the dealer because one was covered under the extended warranty for the throttle body. According to the dealer, one of the other codeswas indicating that the Turbo Control Valve needs replacing and the light would come back on within a couple of weeks. He was right because the light came on two dayslater. Well now the engine also sounds funny, kind of a low gutteral sort of reving when accelerating. I think it is related to the turbo because it's not when I'm just cruising only during moderate acceleration.
My question is whether the "Idle Control Valve" (such as here at FCPGroton) is the same as the Turbo Control Valve. I've tried searching a bunch of the common parts suppliers and can't find a Turbo Control Valve.
Also where is this located on the car? I'm sure I could probably search around and find it, but it'd be nice to be pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!

That is the Idle motor your car doesn't have one.
The boost control valve is mounted to the side of the air filter box.
It has 3 hoses going to it.
I didn't see any listed on the site.
I think this might be it but it doesn't show a picture.

As usual thanks for your help, tech. I'll take a look at swapping that out. (The way this is going I might replace everything under the hood of this car before the year's out.)
I think next time I'll get a mechanic to take a look at the car before I do a private party sale.
