Turn Signal Bulb??
#2
Generally, if the base fits in the socket it will work. Many times the number is only the illumination amount. Like with the new tiny style bulbs with just two contact wires instead of a base? They all fit, just different levels of brightness. And I have never had a problem. (So far) Hehe. Just sometimes my cupholder light looks a freakin headlight. Kidding.

Procedure.....
Hello, THAT bulb was out when I bought my car. Loosen the big air hoses and pivot the top of the air cleaner box out of the way or just remove it. Grab two opposite sides of the box and pull straight up, fairly hard. It pops off little split-barb mounts. Access to the bulb is now easy. Yellow coloring had flaked off my old bulb and I used canned air to blow the flakes out. I put a dab of silicone grease on the barbs to ease replacement. It pops back into place-after you clean it. You'll be amazed how much dirt settles in that box but don't be fooled, there's still enough fine dirt to clog your air cleaner element. Kira

When I removed my air box, I took a small 12 point socket on a long extension that fit over the flaired split fasteners. Picking the right size when pushed down on them it compresses the fitting, then pull up on the box base and it's free. Pushing down and pulling up at the same time is a bit of a trick, but when the split plastic holders are compressed removal is easy.
