Default Under Engine Shield

I've got a 98 V70R. I see talk about having to remove covers when doing an oil change. There's nothing under my car, oil filter and drain plug are available to remove without taking anything else off. Am I missing some kind of plastic shielding??
Thanks.

Nope. There is a plastic shield under the radiator, but you can get to the oil filter w/o removing the shield. Makes it pretty easy to change the oil. One of my earlier Volvo's had it so I had to remove a shield to get to the filter. It was a pain. If you don't have the shield under the radiator, you should get one.
