Default used V70 T5

I'm looking at a 2001 V70 T5 with almost 90000 miles (see link)
what are some common problems I should look for?
should I be concerned about the miles on this car, since it's a turbo car and I don't have any service history on it
the asking price is 10999
any input would be appreciated

thx

That looks like a deal that almost too good to be true. The KBB on that car in 'good' condition is $11,835. In 'excellent' codition
it would be $12,825. Have you looked at the car? My in-laws have an 01 V70 in the Moondust color. It's a very nice car.

90,000 miles on that car is nothing. I can't answer your question on the throttle body though. I have had five Vovlos now and every one of them has been a Turbo and have never had a problem with any of the Turbos or the transmissions. If you want that car, I would jump on it. I don't think it will last long at that price if it is excellent condition or even very good condition. I paid almost that much for a 98 exactly one year ago. Mine only had 70K on it, but it was three years older.

As you read this...............Volvo is involved in a class action regarding the electronic throttle body that is found on your auto. Whereas I would not turn down a "good" deal............be advised that the replacement of this item is over $1000.00. My suggestion is that you clean the unit on a regular (20,000 mile) basis which seems to prolong the life of the Italian made unit.

My mother have V70. I would like to clean throttle body of the car myself. Any information or web link which can give intructions step wise as how to get it done preferbly with pictures. The car is 2001 model and have done only 68000 Km. Till date there is no problem but likewise you told that it should be cleaned regularly so i feel like doing that before we end up with this expensive repair.
