Default v 70 help needed

hello to the wise ones, i need some info: i have a 2001 V70 wagon and i have two issues: 1st the air conditioner is working but not as well as it was last month. it blows cool air out but not cold. the tech guy put the gages on and said all is ok and coolant is at right level. the air is colder in the right center vent than any others, the far left vent by the drivers side door blows only warm air. i have 4 volvos and it is the only one that does not cool the cabin down quickly. makes no since. any ideas wise ones?

2nd issue that has just come up last two weeks, is that the battery seems to be draining over time. i have had battery checked and shows ok. one week ago the car would not start and so i jumped it off and started and ran well for the past week. got in it late yesterday evening and would not start, just sat and clicked. question is could it be a battery drain from something like the cooling fan that will kick on in the hot sunny days when the car is not running? short of taking it to the mechanic and paying for a special test to see if there is a drain on the battery i do not have a clue. HELP !

1. I will bet the freon level is low. Putting a gauge on will not tell you it has the proper level.

2. Check the charging system. These things have common issues with the voltage regulator going bad. What will happen is the warmer the car gets like from driving the less the Alt will charge.

You need to use an A/C machine and remove all the freon and see how much comes out.
Then refill it.
The temp differences between the vents is a very common sign that is it low on freon.
