V70 Auxiliary Air Valve Query
I have a 1997 V70 Automatic Estate, When the car is in 'park' the rev counter hits 3500 instead of something like 900, This happens when its in neutral as well, when the car is in drive and in a line of stationary traffic etc or in reverse the revs are around 1500....I have had the AA out who have told me the Auxiliary Air Valve is faulty because when the patrol man disconnected the valve the revs dropped right down to something like normal.....ANy help and advice would be appreciated as I am no mechanic and cant afford to throw money away for the sake of it.
