V70 Battery Drain - help!
Have got problems with my battery going dead. AA told me to get a new one. I did but not at the £100 they offered.
Anyway I was not totally convinced that this had sorted my problem.
Had a look at this thread ....https://volvoforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42655&highlight=bATTERY+DRAW+test , brilliant and thought this would solve my problem, or at leat give me an indiction of where the drain is coming from.
Unfortunetely when I conncted up I had a reading of 2.15 amps. I took out and replaced every fuse. No change to the reading at any stage.
Could somebody please offer me a little sanity as I feel I am just waiting for the battery to go flat again and a heafty bill. Thanks in advance.

Assume that 2.15 amps is static draw from battery w/o engine running; correct?
Also try disconnecting red battery wire/cable going to the alternator; if that makes the draw go away (0-50 mA is normal) then replace the diode pack in the alt or replace the whole alt.
Let us know what you find...

Heard about Diode Pack issues, but the guy at ATS where they do the free battery check, checked the Altenator and said it was charging up fine, but this was with the engine running.
