I'm brand new to the post and I'm experiencing a problem with my catalytic converter on my 98 V70 (non turbo). There seems to be something loose inside as it vibrates. My dealer's price on a new one is $1270. Nobody in Canada has an aftermarket unit. Has anybody had any experience with this before?

 

They have them in the Aftermarket here in the U.S.

Most likely the Cat came apart. There is a small bit left and that is what is rattling.
