I have a 1998 V70 GLT. Here's the problem...Upon taking off from a stop, there is a hesitation or stuttering (i.e.: a feeling as if the car doesn't want to accelerate) until either I momentarily step off the gas pedal (accelerator)or achieve 30 mph and above. My guess would be either fuel injector(s) or fuel pump. Anyone experience this problem? Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

I have similar problem with my 1996 V70. If I try to accelerate (in any gear including reverse) engine will stutter and cut out unless I ease back. When moving forward from standstill, I need to slowly get the revs up quite high before releasing the clutch, otherwise again it will stutter and die.

There is a lambda light on, but I thought the problem associated with that had been fixed but that the light just remained.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like your throttle position sensor, try unplugging it.
