Everyone,
Former brick owner here (740 Turbo) and looking to get back into the brand.
After some searching I still have some questions regarding model years. I understand to avoid 99-01 although there seem to be many happy owners of those years.

What I'd really to find in a V70 is...
3rd row seat
Turbo
Manual trans (although 5-speed auto is OK)
I'd love to find an "R" but since it'd probably be out of my price range, which option package would likely include the above options?
Is there a model year that the above options were more prevalent?

98 V70 T5M - Kind of hard to find.

How the heck did you post so much info? I can not.

 

Is there a similar model that's a bit newer, say 02-04?
Also, does anyone know which year the 5-speed autos became available?
