Volvo, now officially sold to the Chinese enterprise, is not offering a wagon version of the new S60 in the USA, even though such is available in Europe.

Per the October, 2010 issue of Car & Driver, apparently several models are disappearing, including wagons across the line.

I think its a mistake dumping the wagons. Not everybody wants an SUV or "crossover". And I'm not replacing my V70 with a sedan. Sort of sad as Volvo was a non-U.S. wagon pioneer.

This may be Ford's doing as it dropped the Focus wagon and hatchback when it redesigned them to look like a new Escort model.
