Default V70 T5 SERIOUS Oil Leak, HELP!!!!

Ok, I just bought the T5 two days ago. Didn't notice any problems until i took it to the shop just to look at the bottom of the wagon. I notice a serious oil leak ONLY whe the car is running. I also notice that i can see the Flywheel YES ican see it!! i believe the cover is missing but im not sure this is my first Volvo! The serious part is that the fly wheel has oil all over it and when the car is running its spalshing it everywere, yes that is causing some of the leak but how the hell is is getting in the Transmission? Could that be Transmission Fluid, could it be something else? Someone please help. If anyone has pictures of what the Bottom of a v70 is supposed to look like can you email them or post them PLEASE! Ive removed transmissions before on Hondas but never on a Volvo, Is it basically the same thing? Please help Oh this is my first THREAD !!!

Sounds like a leaky crankshaft seal. If you bought the car from a dealer take it back. That doesn't just happen overnight. They had to have known about the issue.

I blew out the oil pump o-ring on mine?. lots of oil everywhere, sound familiar,
but it is most likely a cam seal, its either one or the other.

Good luck
