After balancing tires wife's V70 T5 is again running smoothly like a 747. I like the car, had oils changed today and inspected it in detail. I like cross bar on top of engine compartment. Volvos are well built car.

But I have a question: how do you check automatic-Geartronic- transmission oil? Car has no dip stick. Only electronically? Maybe because of my generation I like to see with my own eyes the viscosity of oils.

 

yes, there is a dipstick for the tranny.

Is just below the area of the drivers side headlight, under some hose.
