I am looking around for a late model V70R. As you can see I have an 04 XC70 now. From what I read here https://www.autoevolution.com/cars/v...d-6at-180-hpit looks like late model means 2007-2016.

Just wanted the opinions of "experts" on this model. 2007-2016 seems quite a range so am guessing theres a few tweaking along those years. Overall I like my XC70. except for some quirks that I have not had to deal with on my Hondas. Like Wheel bearings, door lock actuators, alarm siren going bad, ac condenser leak, endless messages on message center.

Did Volvo try to eliminate some of these issues with the later models and specifically with the V70/V70R? What about the 3.2 engine? Many in the forum say its slow but nothing of the sort in the articles I read. And curious about its reliability and durability. And some V70s are AWD, too.

I guess maybe I'm looking for buying guide or buying advise.
