Just installed the volvo trailer wiring plug adaptor that is in the spare tire area and now noting when I plug into my trailer. No lights of any kind and I know the work because they work on my other vehicle. I even checked the fuse placement and all that checks out too. Does anybody have any thoughts, am I missing something?

I'd start with a trouble light or volt meter at the out put. Is the harness adapter new or are have you taken it off a different car?

It was purchased new and this is the first trailer I tried to hook up to it? It may be deffective?
