Hi

I am considering buying a 2013 Volvo V70 2,0 D3. I have been reading a bit online and it seems that the diesel engine could get into trouble if it is used for to many short trips. Can anybody give some advice on this? Would it be ok to buy the car if I will use the car mainly for shorter trips during the week and longer trips on the weekend? Or is it basically a no-go if I do not stick to longer trips? Can more regular or specific maintenance be a solution?

Would appreciate any advice you have.
