Pretty damn close to the timing cover.
Looks like the belt is a tad off.

thanks for the reply,
looks like its off by 5mm,
it looks pretty hard to get a 8mm hex key in a socket to those bolts
holding the tensioner, any tips ...

cheers

The tensioner looks good, it's the belt that looks like it's a groove too close.
The tensioner is a solid mount. moving it outward would be the only option.
Not the way you need to go. What's it look like when you eyeball the belt in it's plane
or as you hold a straight edge next to it?

hi mate thanks for the reply, make a little video of it running
sorry about the poor quality, i checked the belt its sitting on everything
true in a line, xcept for that bloody tensioner, and its looks way out
like 5mm how did it get like that ....
I am thinking of pulling the tensioner and putting some thing in the pulley to make it sit nearer to the engine by 5mm, what do you reckon ...

So it is, and so it goes.
Most metal pulleys have the bearing pressed in and then are bolted with a bushing or a sholdered bolt. You may be able to press the bearing just a bit farther to suit your needs.
Mine was a plastic pulley with the bearing cast into it. When the bearing made too much noise, I replaced it with the idler for a Ford Taurus, pressed metel pulley with a pressed in replacable bearing. 6203 if I recall correctly.
If this is your case find a socket or piece of pipe that fits the O.D. of the bearing and either squeeze in a vise or wrap smartly with a mallet till it aligns as you wish.
The question stands; how did it get that way?
