want to turn off the instrument panel lights
I had the DRLs turned off on my 04 V70 at the local dealer. I've noticed that the interior panel lights are still on. Did the dealer forget to turn these lights off or is this correct? If so,is there away for me to turn these light off? I'm not sure why they are on during the day anyway!

You should have a dimmer if you'd like them off. Have you checked your owners manual?
Also, some areas have tunnels and experience some darkness during storms. That may be a reason Volvo has set them to stay on.

thanks rspi for the information.
I do have a dimmer switch but it do not completely turn the lights off.
I have checked the manual and there is nothing on these lights staying on all the time.
