Default What is this leak?

I did have to get the fan assembly of my 04 V70 replaced last week. The fan kept running to the point of draining the battery. Driving a long time back to the city it literally burnt and melted a bit.

Now I notice some spot of grease on the floor under my car on the right side a foot away from the tire. I know that coolant would look like oil on the ground.

My coolant reservoir is up to the max level indicated. Could this be oil on this side or coolant? Anything I should check?

The spot on the floor is a circle with 2-inch diameter.

Put your finger in it. It could be either. It's likely oil from the front seal or head gasket or coolant from the water pump. Pull the splash pan off and trace the leak to its source when you see a fresh drip on the drive.
Stick your head in there, man!
