Hello,Had a used 98 V70 XC AWD shipped from Chicago
to Dallas. Drove for about a week and service light came on.
Went to Auto Zone and ran diagnostics got code 0445 Gas Cap,
EVAP Leak. Installed new cap and erased falt. Drove about50 miles
and light came back on. Reading this forum looked around and found
a hose broken. Repairedand have driven 150 miles.
Went to get it inspected and Emissions test results Aborted.

Aborted reason was : Most of the readiness monitors are not ready

Has anyone heard of this?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Yes heard of this before Volvo is one of the hardest cars to do a complete drive cycle on to get all readiness values ready.
From what I hear alot of states have actually excluded Volvo's from that portion of the test due to the hardness to get them all ready.
It might take 200 miles or 1000 miles to get it to ready.

check your vacuum lines. I had a line off in the top front of my 98 glt and it was tripping all kinds of codes. I replaced the small line to the sensor and life was good.

 

Move to Ohio. We have no inspections whatsoever. Lots of junk on the roads because of it too.
